We can mark it as deprecated, but it will (and SHOULD) still be listed in the index pages. (In reply to Robin Johnson from comment #1) why ? keeping it reachable directly makes sense, but keeping it listed (assuming the viewer supports it) is not necessary. It will be listed, as the listing is built of all public repos. The only hidden ones are those that are actually private. It should be listed, as the work isn't invalid, just not the most recent tree. (In reply to Robin Johnson from comment #3) which is why it doesn't belong in the index. there's no value in cluttering up the index with projects that have been obsolete for years. if you really want to waste resources on this, then maybe update the UI to have an "obsolete" tab or check box so that all the crap is filtered out by default. |
