emerge libpng before gtk+ doesn't solve my problem. Can you try: CFLAGS="" emerge --oneshot libxslt and then try merging GTK+. hello Tom, it fails with a different message : Writing SpecialObjects.html for chapter(SpecialObjects) Writing GtkCList.html for refentry(GtkCList) Writing GtkCTree.html for refentry(GtkCTree) Writing GtkCombo.html for refentry(GtkCombo) xmlXPathCompiledEval: evaluation failed /usr/bin/gtkdoc-mkhtml: line 45: 12954 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/xsltproc --nonet --xinclude --stringparam gtkdoc.bookname $module --stringparam gtkdoc.version "1.2" $gtkdocdir/gtk-doc.xsl $document make[4]: *** [html-build.stamp] Error 139 make[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/var/tmp/portage/gtk+-2.4.3/work/gtk+-2.4.3/docs/reference/gtk' make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/var/tmp/portage/gtk+-2.4.3/work/gtk+-2.4.3/docs/reference' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/var/tmp/portage/gtk+-2.4.3/work/gtk+-2.4.3/docs' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/var/tmp/portage/gtk+-2.4.3/work/gtk+-2.4.3' make: *** [all] Error 2 !!! ERROR: x11-libs/gtk+-2.4.3 failed. !!! Function src_compile, Line 66, Exitcode 2 !!! (no error message) The issue at hand here seems to be with gtkdoc-mkhtml which is from the gtk-doc package. Both errors fail on this command. Try re-emerging gtk-doc, or upgrading to a higher version. I am sorry but I think it was due to CPU overheat. I opened my PC case and fresh air made it ! everything is just fine now (except for noise) Closing as invalid. |
