This is a new ebuild I have made for the new galeon 1.2.14. There are quite some people still using the 1.2 versions.

In my status of information, galeon 1.2.x doesn't compile with mozilla 1.7.2. There is no possibility to support older mozilla-versions because of the security leak in <=mozilla-1.7.0.

Okay, I have a problem with this.
galeon-1.2.x is deprecated and no longer supported by their devs. Due to the galeon-page, it only works till mozilla 1.7.
As there have been a bunch of security-bugs in mozilla fixed in the 1.7.x-versions, this cannot stay in the tree.
If anyone is interested in still having a galeon-1.2 in portage, can you please verify if it can be built against 1.7.3 and provide an ebuild? I won't do this myself, because I don't have a system with mozilla-gtk1.
If noone steps in here, I'll remove galeon-1.2.x from portage.

As galeon-1.2.x is unsupported by their devs and nobody seems to look at the security-issues with old mozilla-versions, I'll remove the ebuilds from the tree.
If anyone wants galeon-1.2 back, please contact me so we can solve these issues.
