can you post the emerge --info for both the build machine and the other server. the important part is: !!! The following binary packages have been ignored due to non matching USE: =sys-cluster/pacemaker-1.1.12-r2 cman disable the cman useflag on your build machine and it'll install fine I need the USE flag "cman", so i cannot remove it. The emerge --info for both machines is already posted in the first message. Adding more info: if i remove the "cman" flag on the server srvprod01, i also get the same message. Regards (In reply to mottone from comment #2) > I need the USE flag "cman", so i cannot remove it. Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild N ] sys-cluster/pacemaker-1.1.12-r2 USE="acl smtp (-cman) -heartbeat -snmp -static-libs" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7" 10215 KiB the ()'s mean that the useflag is masked. somehow it is masked on your server, you'll have to remove the mask then you can enable it. This is my package.use: sys-cluster/heartbeat management #sys-libs/ncurses -gpm media-libs/gd fontconfig net-dns/bind dlz dev-lang/php cgi media-libs/gd truetype sys-libs/talloc python net-fs/cifs-utils -acl sys-cluster/pacemaker cman smtp #=sys-cluster/pacemaker-1.1.12-r2 cman smtp dev-lang/php mysql mysqli gd curl zip bcmath calendar libmysqlclient mhash soap sockets sysvipc wddx xmlreader xmlrpc xmlwriter truetype dev-libs/libxml2 python net-analyzer/nagios-plugins snmp # required by sci-misc/boinc-7.2.0-r1 # required by boinc (argument) x11-libs/wxGTK opengl dev-lang/python sqlite in that machine there isn't any package.mask. Where can i check if the cman flag is masked? The .ebuild files are identical. Best regards. (In reply to mottone from comment #4) > This is my package.use: > sys-cluster/pacemaker cman smtp > > in that machine there isn't any package.mask. > > Where can i check if the cman flag is masked? > Please compare the profile your servers are using : eselect profile list Tip: also, if you want to ONLY build using binary packages, consider using the -K (upper case) emerge option. The output of "eselect profile list" are the same. The USE flag cman is masked in /usr/portage/profiles/base/package.use.stable.mask in both servers. Issue is related specificallt to masked USE-flag that is now gone for a long time. Closing as OBSOLETE |
