$ ebuild avidemux-9999.ebuild unpack does not fetch the latest version from upstream. -9999 is broken Using the 9999 gentoo ebuilds from today's date (10/21/2016), changing the repo to EGIT_REPO_URI="https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2.git" in avidemux-9999.ebuild avidemux-core-9999.ebuild, and avidemux-plugins-9999.ebuild is almost enough to get a working avidemux build. When I did the above, avidemux-core builds, but then it tries to build avidemux, which fails because the cmake process expects the ffmpeg files from avidemux-core to still exist in /tmp/portage, but they've been deleted at the end of the avidemux-core emerge process. So, building avidemux-core again, but killing it before it is finished leaves the files in place that avidemux-9999.ebuild is needing. Finally, avidemux-plugins chokes on the only patch (avidemux-plugins-2.6.4-optional-pulse.patch), so I removed the patch from the ebuild. It works for me. I don't use pulse though, FWIW. Also, it isn't pretty, but maybe will spur someone who knows more than me on to whipping up a proper fix. Is there any progress on this? |
