I can't compile 2.6.7-gentoo on my system, vanilla 2.6.7 works.

I confirm this. Workaround: Disable CONFIG_BLK_DEV_COMPRESSLOOP in your kernel config for the time being.

This is the patch that should be applied in the 2.6.7 kernel for gcloop.

Oh, just fyi, the gcloop patch has been dropped from the 2.6.7-r2 release, as
it should be a separate ebuild.
