I cannot reproduce this... are you seeing the same problem on a newly created user account with a new homedir?

Yes, same problem with just created account

Maybe a text encoding issue in gnome-control-center or colord or something in between them? For example, color profile names were generated in a Russian locale in one place, then were interpreted as ascii or latin1 in another place, and were truncated to 0-length strings after being detected as invalid.

I created new account and put "LANG=en_US.UTF-8" in ~/.profile - no changes. See attachment

Please retry with 3.20

If this is still valid, also in a new user account, you would need to report it to upstream (bugzilla.gnome.org) as, otherwise, I doubt it will get fixed ever :|
