This another compiler optimization bug in gcc. I tried 3.3.3 and also 3.4.0-r6 now. The gcc bug is reported at http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16064 . Someone should pickup the patch when get available. In the meantime, -O0 is a must for this.
