a NO Login failed.

The same user can login with SSH and FTP

/var/log/syslog says:

Feb  5 15:09:40 hydrogen imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:1.2.3.4]
Feb  5 15:09:53 hydrogen imapd: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:1.2.3.4]

Edit /etc/courier-imap/authdaemonrc and replace authmodulelist= with
authmodulelist="authpam"
