The Problem: This applies only to reiser4 users, but is safe enough to be added to future ebuilds for everybody. It resolves a problem where nss causes glibc to fail compiling due to the fact it can't access a few files. The Fix: Add in the ebuild under src-unpack. chmod +x ${S}/nis/nss Shouldn't matter where.. just before glibc starts being configured and after its unpacked. Thats all, and hope this can be added into the ebuild as it has confused some reiser4 users.
