any updates on this? Maybe this patch from upstream helps: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-savage/commit/?id=d28cd83c7b0b4a943efbe5ddf257c8ee2646ea73 I have the same issue. I did not try it yet, but it should fix several drivers: https://freedesktop.org/patch/30241/ Disregarding my previous patch, the mentioned patch http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-savage/commit/?id=d28cd83c7b0b4a943efbe5ddf257c8ee2646ea73 fixes build. I have a problem confirming functionality because X actually comes up with wrong resolution and extremely slow. Trying to exit X ends with a black screen and locked up computer.
