kernel configuration
Able to reproduce with dd on its own: cd /mount-point/ dd if=/dev/zero count=1000 of=test.img bs=1G After about 30 seconds, the kernel panic occurs. Upgraded to 9999 versions and no kernel panics. Over 50 GiB copied over rsync so far. This issue appears to be gone with zfs and related items at version 0.6.4 It looks like this commit fixed this: https://github.com/zfsonlinux/spl/commit/a3c1eb77721a0d511b4fe7111bb2314686570c4b In the future, I suggest filing panic reports upstream. The overwhelming majority of issues are upstream issues. I have been spending the time that I have for working on non-Gentoo specific ZFS bugs at the upstream tracker. |
