new drivers from nvidia.  tried to cp from older ebuild but the 2.6 kernel patch would not work with it.

Why are these even in portage?  Aren't they just the i8xx OSS drivers?  Now that the kernel has support in-tree, I don't see the need to keep this package around... am I mistaken?
