wine ebuild
I changed the ebuild not to use the gentoo-specific packages, which are not yet
availilbe. compiles and runs at me.
doesn't work here. - Segfaults (doesn't like nptl?) - Installs on /usr/lib/wine and doesn't create the apropiate /etc/env.d/ entries. I also had the segfaulting problem using kernel 2.6.x + nptl. The wrapper isn't at fault because running the new preloader directly (after setting the paths and library paths in the wrapper) generates the same result. To solve the issue, I just changed instances of the "wine" binary to "wine-pthread" in the wrapper. Still makes me wonder what's causing the segfault though. same error here (segfault). after changing the wrapperscript as described by Nick Hornback (comment #2) it seems to work. it's really sad that nobody seems to maintain the wine-ebuilds. Is the current wine-version making it to the portage-tree someday??? It seems after the gentoo-staff overslept the last release they are going to do the same with this one. BAD HABIT! finally in cvs |
