Apparently this may have been a bug in swig ( https://github.com/swig/swig/issues/368 ). I downgraded swig to 2.0.9, and pyifp installed fine. (0) 2.0.9^t (~)2.0.12^t (~)3.0.2^t (~)3.0.4^t 3.0.5^t 2.0.9 is the stabled and the oldest. Could you test on the other more recents and report if they pass or fail? setting a border to ~2.0.9 seems heavy handed. Better would be a patch but there may net be one to sure this apparent bug. pkg removed from tree |
