no, that's not the case. you are being asked to choose between the sdl or gtk guis. I've compiled it with SDL and no there is no gui but there is sound. I've also compiled it with gtk and then there was a gui but no sound. I don't file bugs for fun. I've checked this before. Try yourself. What do you mean by "there is no gui but there is sound" ? How did you test it. Same thing for the gtk case. I executed the "x64" binary and got the described results. as far as I can tell the x64 binary isn't supposed to make any sound when it starts up. It seems that you never used the emulator. You can get a program for testing here: http://www.c64games.de/phpseiten/spieledetail.php?filnummer=206 It's originally from the Commodore 64 - which is what the x64 emulates. The site I recommended is partially in German - therefore I provide this alternative: http://www.c64.com/games/238 vice-2.4.20 makes picking SDL sound support explicit. |
