Wither this is fixed or you didn Wither this is fixed or you didn´t look at /usr/portage/dev-php/php/php-5.0.0.ebuild This is there the php-gentoo guys are hiding RC3. imho a really bad idea to manage. php-5.0.0_rc3 would by a good name but I don´t know how portage handle this suffixes. The final release of php5 is 'any day now', or so I've been promised. I've added the php-5.0.0 and mod_php-5.0.0 ebuilds to use RC3; they will never be marked as stable on any of our supported platforms. Once php5 final comes out, I'll version-bump to php-5.0.0-r1, and look to get that marked as stable. Or, to put it another way, RC3 isn't going to be in Portage for very long at all. Best regards, Stu |
