"Founded in 1999, the Jakarta Project housed a diverse set of popular open source Java
solutions.
In December 2011, Jakarta was retired as all of its subprojects had either become their
own projects or been retired.
Software may be downloaded from the Archives[1]."

[2] http://archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/oro/ seems to be usable.
Looks also as if the mirror involved has been pulled from service: http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov Going to make a separate bug to report that. Mirror removal was handled already by bug #532384 The reported problem still exists. Are there any plans to solve this? + 16 Jun 2015; Patrice Clement <monsieurp@gentoo.org> + jakarta-oro-2.0.8-r3.ebuild: + Update SRC_URI. Fix bug 539816. + -SRC_URI="mirror://apache/jakarta/oro/source/${P}.tar.gz" +SRC_URI="http://archive.apache.org/dist/${MY_J}/${MY_O}/${P}.tar.gz" It should work smoothly now. Thanks for the heads up. Solved it myself changing the SRC_URI to the link reported by Jeroen Roovers. https://github.com/maggu2810/maggu2810-overlay/commit/0a7c5332e17720c72b51a8a995bae9a62d6e5824.patch Ah, thank you, that you have done this for the official portage tree now. |
