You need to run, configure.sh, so that it re-creates the config.php file. I don't know why this is required, it's just a guess. The upgrade instructions on Gallery's home page say this is the first thing to do when upgrading, even if the new is installed directly over top of the old. it worked, thx. might be a good idea to upfate einfo in ebuild because it says to upgrade, just run secure.sh. einfo einfo "For new installations point your browser to " einfo "http://localhost/gallery/setup/" einfo "and follow the instructions." einfo "--------------------------------------------" einfo "For upgrades, just run" einfo "# cd ${destdir}" einfo "# sh ./secure.sh" einfo I've updated the einfo.
