Description Adi Vasiliuc 2004-06-14 06:49:33 UTC
The html install documentation which comes with the install cds. Recomends us to use Reiserfs for the main partition. The problem is that it does NOT mention what to write in /etc/fstab if you use Reiserfs.
And, btw, that Gentoo logo looks backwards. It goes from right to left, when most of people read from left to write. This is kind of wierd. Can I change it for my perticular instalation if not for all :D ?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

The latest online-version of our x86-handbook recommends to use ext3 for the root partition (and of course explains how to configure your /etc/fstab with a ext3 root partition).

As we can't fix previously released livecd media i'll mark this as CANTFIX.
