What we should do? Masking >=icu-54.1 and reemerging all packages already using (webkit-gtk, ...) or waiting for a libreoffice version working with icu-54.1? Created attachment 395704 [details, diff]
libreoffice-4.3.5.2-icu54.patch
Please try this patch taken from master, I'm currently building 4.4.0.3 with it.
did you try increasing the backtracking value already? there's nothing in the tree that hard-requires icu-53, all the deps are autogenerated subslots looks more like a portage problem Oh, I somehow implied this was due to a failed libreoffice build, should have looked closer. (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #0) > 'emerge -v --update --newuse --deep --with-bdeps=y --backtrack=30 @world' > fails with: Please try again with --verbose-conflicts, and post the output. What version of sys-apps/portage do you have? (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #0) > !!! The system can't be updated. It's a very big problem. (In reply to mrl4n from comment #11) > Hi, i've un-emerged some programs as skype and trackerto try some solutions, > and now it's impossible to emerge again. > > The system can't be updated. > > It's a very big problem. You can temporarily use --ignore-built-slot-operator-deps=y to reduce the number of conflicts until you get your system to a better state. Also using --ignore-built-slot-operator-deps=y is impossible to update system.
For example trying to emerge skype an error
there are no ebuilds built with USE flags to satisfy "dev-qt/qtgui:4[accessibility,abi_x86_32(-)]".
!!! One of the following packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-qt/qtgui-4.8.6-r4::gentoo (Change USE: +accessibility)
when the USE is in package.use for skype.
If i try to emerge world with the option a problem about tracker block
>=app-misc/tracker-1:0=" has unmet requirements.
- app-misc/tracker-1.2.6::gentoo USE="exif ffmpeg flac gif gstreamer gtk iso jpeg miner-fs mp3 nautilus pdf tiff upower vorbis xml -cue (-eds) -firefox-bookmarks -gsf -iptc -networkmanager -playlist -rss -test -thunderbird -upnp-av -xmp -xps" ABI_X86="64"
The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
at-most-one-of ( gstreamer ffmpeg )
when in the package.use i,'ve tried for this package -xine gstreamer or xine -gstreamer and ffmpeg -gstreamer or -ffmpeg gstreamer with the same results.
(In reply to mrl4n from comment #13) > Also using --ignore-built-slot-operator-deps=y is impossible to update > system. Your issues with USE and REQUIRED_USE are relatively easy to solve and have nothing to do with this bug. You can get help with those issues on the gentoo forums or gentoo-user mailing list. |
