modules do not work with linux > ~3.12
bunch of patches at https://github.com/rasa/vmware-tools-patches lots of current info, but still couldn't get vmhgfs working with linux 3.17.8-r1
needs more work, able to get it to compile but mounting vmhgfs hard locks system.

open-vm-tools use flag modules (and the open-vm-tools-kmod.ebuild) should block with linux > 3.12
this will help bump open-vm-tools
