cat /usr/portage/gpe-base/gpe/gpe-2.8.ebuild | grep HOMEPAGE
HOMEPAGE="http://linuxtogo.org/gowiki/GPERoadmap"

is not available since more than one year, but 
http://gpe.linuxtogo.org/
still works (for a few pages).

Due to Bug 514130 it is not possible to install gpe Desktop at the moment. 
The latest release 2.8 is from 2007. Is it still worth to keep gpe in the tree?
