Does it happen with other versions? I ran into this on a new installation. Setting WANT_AUTOMAKE to 1.11 worked around the problem: # WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.11 emerge -1av libmemcached blee@nsx ~ $ equery l automake\* * Searching for automake* ...
