Chuck, I gave the ebuild a little rewrite:

* Version bump
* Made CFLAGS aware
* LICENSE is now GPL-2
* The current init script is borked because it contains the same contents
  as the conf.d file and this just won't work
* The rewritten ebuild creates an extra user for ptlink ircd because running
  as nobody isn't the best and this is needed to protect /etc/ptlink-ircd
* Tweaked the file system layout, allowing logging and writing pidfile
* I would like to rename the package to ptlink-ircd for consistency reasons.
  PTlink also has sources for services and an open proxy monitor, for which
  I'm going to write ebuilds and name them ptlink-services and ptlink-opm.

I'm not going to attach a diff, because of the massive changes.
