Description Georg Öttl 2004-06-10 11:18:24 UTC
After removing "gnome" from my use path everything worked fine :-).

When using the gnome flag the compiler crashes on:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I.. -I.. -I../gdk-pixbuf -I../gdk-pixbuf -I/us r/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2 -I/usr/include /glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/include/gnome-1.0 -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H -I/usr/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2 -I/us r/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -DPIXBUF_LIBDIR= \"/usr/lib/gdk-pixbuf/loaders\" -O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -c gnome-canvas-pixbu f.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/gnome-canvas-pixbuf.lo
gnome-canvas-pixbuf.c:25:37: libgnomeui/gnome-canvas.h: No such file or director y
gnome-canvas-pixbuf.c:26:42: libgnomeui/gnome-canvas-util.h: No such file or dir ectory

gnome-canvas-pixbuf.c:28:45: libart_lgpl/art_rgb_rgba_affine.h: No such file or directory

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.add "gnome" to the use variable
2.emerge

Actual Results:
The result is a compile failure

What version of gdk-pixbuf is this?
Comment 2 Georg Öttl 2004-06-10 23:33:01 UTC
emerge says:

dunno.. the gnome USE flag has no effect on the gdk-pixbuf package.

I can't reproduce and i don't see how this could happen.

I'm gonna close this until you can prove this is not some local mess-up .
