Description Mike Hull 2002-07-21 13:18:21 UTC
It seems that the latest version fping doesn't support ipv4. So my fix to get
dvdrip clustering working was to downgrade since I don't use ipv6 anymore. I
just removed _ipv6 from the ebuild's download and redigested.

dvd::rip expects fping to be /usr/sbin/fping or i would have made a seperate
ebuild as a seperate dependency of dvdrip. I didn't take the time to patch the
probably one line of perl ;)

if you haven't used dvd::rip its amazing. transcode is awesome.

Hey Mike

I added it to the tree and masked it.

Can you give me a try and tell me if it works? (It works over here, but that
doesnt mean anything, does it :))

Worked just fine for me. Only issue I would have with it is the setuid root,
but its probably better that only root can run it by default.
That was fast.
Thanks,
Mike
