Created attachment 392758 [details] emerge --info When building vdpauinfo 0.9, the configure script crashes with the error checking for VDPAU... no configure: error: Package requirements (x11 vdpau >= 0.9) were not met: Requested 'vdpau >= 0.9' but version of VDPAU is 0.8 Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables VDPAU_CFLAGS and VDPAU_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. With libvdpau-0.9 installed, installation proceeds correctly. Attached is emerge --info, and a patch to the vdpauinfo-0.9 ebuild.
