I already have =dev-libs/libev-4.15-r1 installed here, so this is obviously a problem with =media-tv/dvbstreamer-2.0.0_rc1's configure script not finding the installed libev libraries! Of which are installed here: /usr/lib64/libev.so /usr/lib64/libev.so.4.0.0 /usr/include/ev.h /usr/include/ev++.h checking for ev.h... yes checking for ev_loop in -lev... no According to the following URL, libev-4 no longer contains ev_loop, so dvbstreamer likely needs to be updated to work with libev-4. http://trac.macports.org/ticket/31359 The DEPENDS within this dvbstreamer-2.0.0_rc1.ebuild should now require <libev-4, but there are no packages <libev-4 within Portage! So the only choice is to update dvbstreamer to a newer version containing support for libev-4! A little more research shows dvbstreamer's last release was dvbstreamer-2.1.0.tar.bz2 published 2011-03-05, of which will likely be fixed to work with libev-4. dvbstreamer-2.1.0.tar.bz2, published 2011-03-05 libev-4.00.tar.gz, published 25-Oct-2010 If I get a little more time, I might version bump dvbstreamer with the last stable release mentioned above. The package has been removed. |
