I personnaly use an init-rc script to update my IP address at boot (via DynDns).
I thought it could be useful for other gentoo users.
So I tuned it to make it acceptable and to support a configuration file.

You'll also find attached the 1st revision of the related ebuild (dyndnsupdate-0.6.15-r1), supporting the Init-rc script installation.

ok, that init.d script is waaaay too much cruft ...

there's no reason to do all that file parsing, just install the config file as /etc/conf.d/dyndnsupdate and make it set bash variables
