please post emerge -p unmerge alsa-driver >>> These are the packages that I would unmerge:

Okay, I thought I had unmerged already the alsa-driver I had with the 2.4 kernel on that host and was pretty sure of it, wouldn't had done this bug report otherwise. Sorry.
Unmerged it and now the situation is okay...
