Please let me know if more info needed. can you try building openssh with USE=-hpn and see if it helps ? Hi, does not help I've got the same problem. I've been using version 5.8 and everything worked beautifully. Updated to version 7.3 and now can't connect to server running version 4.7_p1-r6. Can connect to that server using version 5.9_p1-r4. So it seems something has broken between 5.9 and 7.3. Also, no problem connecting to a separate server running version 4.5 using version 7.3. Successful connections are "HPN to Non-HPN Connection" as well so not convinced that will help but willing to try. Could there be a problem with HPN Buffer Size on older server hardware? Thanks for any help. ... debug1: Authentication succeeded (publickey).
