Upstream released 1.11.1, which works for me when viewing twitch.tv streams. This doesn't require any additional patches.

Created attachment 391474 [details] livestreamer-1.11.0.ebuild All current versions of livestreamer in portage are as of this moment useless, since Twitch changed their API. Attached is an ebuild for version 1.11.0, and a patch for $FILESDIR (applied by the ebuild) that restores Twitch.tv functionality. (This patch will be in the next upstream release.) Since all current versions are now useless, they can be deleted from portage. I will do a stable request for 1.11.0.
