This behavior has not changed when upgrading to qemu-2.2.0. I continue to try different methods of increasing video ram, but it never works. I have tried manipulating all of these: qxl.vram64_size_mb=uint32 qxl.vram_size_mb=uint32 qxl.ram_size_mb=uint32 qxl.vram_size=uint32 qxl.ram_size=uint32 During my testing, I have removed the video card from the device manager in my virtual machine, and allowed it to reinstall. now all video ram measurements show n/a. The 16mb has disappeared. Perhaps it was a relic from switching from standard vga to the qxl driver? I suspect that it was never an accurate report for my qxl implementation. it's not clear this is a bug in qemu vs passing in the right flags. please post your queries to the qemu discuss list and let us know: https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/qemu-discuss |
