Might be connected to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=619786. However switching temporarily to bash did not helped. It worked however when I executed it as bash /usr/bin/texi2dvi or changed /bin/sh to /bin/bash in shebang. I reported the problem upstream but the don't know what I'm talking about. ... The "problem" is fixed in version 5.2.0. Emerging =sys-apps/texinfo-5.2.0 solves the problem too. won't bother investigating since 5.1 isn't in the tree anymore |
