PEAR has a XML RPC client and server php class collection. It's really usefull since php itselft only provides a server. Another ebuild in portage can add this feature but since it's php, PEAR is the best way of do it.

This ebuild is fully functional to emerge PEAR-XML_RPC v1.1.0

My usual pear policy applies: if nothing depends on it, it shouldn't go in.
Now, i know there are some packages which do rely on it, but none currently in the tree. If we ever put one of those in - this gets in as well.
