Is there someone in IRC I can ping? It's silly that Gentoo, the bleeding edge of GNU/Linux distros, is so far behind in package versions.

The Lisp team is heavily understaffed the last years. Speaking for myself, I'm too busy with real life and this affects any gentoo progress, bumps etc. Make an ebuild and I'll take a look if I find time. If you want, speak to me directly on irc, #gentoo-lisp . 

@hkBst: Marijn, if you see this, bump the damn thing if it's easy.
