You have requested 4 version bumps today: 1 for app-misc/banner 1 for mail-mta/msmtp 1 for net-p2p/chub 1 for app-arch/cabextract without even providing ebuilds for them. I think you should realise that the purpose of bugzilla is not to harass the gentoo developers, but to help resolving bugs or propose enhancements. - these are only version bumps which don't need a separate ebuild - a copyquick of the last ebuild works fine - and plz no further discussion in bugzilla - lets meet in irc/pm Jerome, if a package has been updated upstream for several days, it is often quite helpful to the developers if someone who uses the package will submit a bug that states a) there is a new version of xxx package version yyy and b) a simple copy of the ebuild works on zzz architecture. If it is a very popular package, like nvidia drivers and a dozen people post a bug begging for an update, this gets annoying, but the submissions I've seen from Mr. Webert have been genuinely useful. Thanks for understanding. |
