When 'qemu-img convert' is called to read/write a 'raw' image and the source is not flushed to disk it will corrupt the output image.

The was noticed in the context of openstack but isn't limited to that.

Please add the following 2 patches:

or update the qemu source to at least 2.2.0-rc0

Thank you for reporting this.

This is now fixed in versions 2.1.2-r2, 2.2.0. Version 2.1.2-r2 will get fast stabilized due to bugs #531666, #529030, #528922. Therefore, I close
