Can you please consider add it to the tree again?

They are probably included with the scala installation in /usr/share/scala/lib. You just need to add them to your CLASSPATH. But probably you are also affected by bug #532694. A possible quick workaround could be to create a symlink to the correct file (with the symlink having a .jar file name ending).
