I'll look into it isn't this addressed in your testing livecds chris? Actually, I've done this on my -test4 CD, which I have not yet uploaded, so it has not been tested at all. The only problem I could see is that users with a VIA-based motherboard would have problems booting from their CDROM, which is why this needs to be tested. This must not be a module for users with a via-ide based CDROM to be able to boot the LiveCD. There isn't much we can do about this until the next kernel release. |
