As we don't compile from sources, I don't think this is a Gentoo-specific problem. Upstream seems quite abandoned as well. Does it work in any other distro? actually it works when jxplorer is installed in the user profile, probably because it has the right permissions. when installed system-wide, i believe the settings are not saved because the user doesn't have the root permissions. either jxplorer has been designed not to be installed system-wide, or a setting is missing to indicate a path for saving prefs. |
