@mjo: I haven't used hdapsd for a while as my currently thinkpad had an ssd, so please got ahead and just submit your changes to gx86. Do you want to co-maintain this package? Sure, I'll add myself to the metadata. I can help take care of it until my laptop dies. I'll also need to rename the init/conf files I think, so they don't affect the old stable package. yeah, please go ahead. *hdapsd-20141024 (29 Oct 2014) 29 Oct 2014; Michael Orlitzky <mjo@gentoo.org> +files/hdapsd.conf-20141024, +files/hdapsd.init-20141024, +hdapsd-20141024.ebuild, metadata.xml: Add myself as co-maintainer and version bump. |
Right on time, there's a new version of hdapsd! I've tried to modernize the ebuild and init scripts a little. The new version adds systemd support (automatic, as long as you tell it where to install the unit file). It also adds support for a config file /etc/hdapsd.conf via dev-libs/libconfig. That took a little work with the init/conf files. ChangeLog: Brice Arnould <brice.arnould@gmail.com>: * Support for the HP3D sensor from Hewlett-Packard laptops. Evgeni Golov <evgeni@golov.de>: * Support for Apple MacBooks and MacBooks Pro with Intel CPUs. * Support for the generic FREEFALL sensor. * Support for Toshiba laptops (using both ACPI and HAPS). * Support for the generic input/joystick sensor. * Config file support using libconfig. Tomasz Torcz <tomek@pipebreaker.pl> and Thomas Weißschuh <thomas@t-8ch.de>: * systemd support Whoopie <whoopie79@gmx.net>: * Support for the DELL freefall sensor (smo8800)
