Could you please try version 0.4.0?
Just do a "emerge /usr/portage/media-video/kplayer/kplayer-0.4.0.ebuild"
Works fine here.

i have the same problem with kplayer-0.4.0:

checking for KDE... libraries /usr/kde/3.2/lib, headers /usr/kde/3.2/include
checking if UIC has KDE plugins available... configure: error: not found - you need to install kdelibs first.

have you upgraded qt since you've upgrade kdelibs? a re-emerge of kdelibs may fix the problem.

closing as NEEDINFO, feel free to reopen if this is still an issue after recompiling the kdelibs. thanks
Comment 6 Kenyon Ralph 2005-02-11 13:08:35 UTC
I had this problem also, but with kplayer-0.5.3. Recompiling kdelibs fixed it.
