Hurmm, first, you have odd CFLAGS, any reason why you have -O2 there twice? Second, could you try to remerge gnome-mime-data and gnome-vfs and see if the problem still exists? the probelm centers aroubnd this assert failing, but why? nautilus: art_render_gradient.c:337: art_render_gradient_linear_render_8: Assertion `(stops[ix-1].offset <= offset_fraction + 1e-6) || ((stops[ix].offset > (1.0 - 1e-6)) && (offset_fraction < 1e-6 ))' failed. Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x3638)! could it be my background image is an svg that it can't render? - and I finex My CFLAGS there's only one -O2 now, in terms of having odd flags, ireally don't understand what they mean, what would you sugget for a pentium III celeron 1.4 with 512Mb RAM? -- sorry, also need to mention unmerged _gnome-vfs-extras_ in order to emerge gnome-vfs, then emerge gnome vfs and gnome-mime-data, but as above I think that nautilus not being able to understnd the mime type is not causeing the error, those were just warnings, I think that the error is in displaying the background image, and may not be tied my home directory or the files in it in any way ( well, except that setting) what is the status here / from the looks of it this is a local problem no reply, closing. Reopen if needed & reproduced vs. latest nautilus & vfs in the tree. |
