http://www.busybox.net/FAQ.html#configure though homepage says that defconfig is the maximum sane config, I guess changing that for a sys-apps -application would take a long time. (In reply to emil karlson from comment #1) > http://www.busybox.net/FAQ.html#configure though homepage says that > defconfig is the maximum sane config. Good catch. Seems like we should probably change allyesconfig to defconfig. should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report! Commit message: Add USE=debug to control build debug options and switch to defconfig http://sources.gentoo.org/sys-apps/busybox/busybox-1.22.1-r1.ebuild?rev=1.1 The defconfig change introduced these issues (both the same): https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=526008 https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=536988 In general this changes quite a lot of busybox' settings, which used to be standard in Gentoo for years. It seems to be a bit over the board for a simple request to disable debugging for the tftp applet. If defconfig is there to stay despite the regressions it introduces, it would be nice to at least have a use flag that brings back the old behaviour. |
