Clicking the volume button in the GUI does not bring up volume bar, allowing for change in volume.

When run from commandline, pithos spits out: 

(pithos:32131): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_render_frame_gap: assertion 'xy0_gap >= 0' failed
