Please provide two files here to let us try as it looks to work ok for me (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #1) > Please provide two files here to let us try as it looks to work ok for me I assume it is any dbus problem. After logging in from an other system the issue disappeared. It happens again with dev-util/meld-3.12.1. If I start meld I see the expected window with the first differences, but it seems almost not react on any mouse action. I can't scroll. If I click just after the start of meld to the File Menu it falls down, if I select "close", the differences windows is close, but meld is still open. If I click to "close" after an other mouse click inside meld, nothing happens. If I click to one left or right adjust files, the window is not changed. But it seems, that the adjustment took place. Therefore I will be ask to save the file, if I try to quit with CTL-Q meld afterwards. Maybe the issue is only connected with ssh sessions. The local call to meld just worked as expected. Investigating the issue further I found, that I have five systems, where meld via ssh works like charm, but I also have four systems, where it is not refreshed. I rebooted one of this four systems, After the reboot meld refreshes one or two seconds. I could scroll a little bit. Then it hangs again, I checked dbus (systemctl status dbus) and dmesg, but I did not see any error. meld-3.12.0 is not in the tree anymore. The lowest version currently is 3.12.2. Does this problem still exist with the newer ebuilds? 3.13.2 looks to work fine for me, please retry with that one |
