Description Daniel Vianna 2004-05-30 02:42:38 UTC
When I attach files to mail, the php engine recognizes the files, uploads them and everything seems OK. But the mail received comes without the attached file. When trying with Mozilla, it works fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start konqueror
2. open page www.unimail.unsw.edu.au or webmail.usp.br
3. log in, compose, attach file, send
4. receive file, open it.

Actual Results:
I get the email without the attached file.

Expected Results:
Attach correctly the file. I would like to receive it with the sent e-mail.

I have both KDE and Gnome installed. I've emerged sync recently (like 2 or 3
weeks ago). I haven't tried to attach files before that sync. I have problems
with Mozilla too (it hangs when I try to type in a location). I'll make
another post for this one.

I don't have access to either of those two webmail services, but I use squirrelmail webmail service at my company and konqueror attaches files to it correctly.

If you're sure this is a konqueror specific bug, you probably should file a bugreport at bugs.kde.org.

Mozilla is able to attach files correctly to these webmail services, so I think it's a Konqueror-specific bug.

never had a problem with this - please file upstream if it's still an issue for you.
