After recent upgrade I have discovered that gutenprint gimp plug-in is not working anymore. It try to print, and then freezes. Investigating the situation I understand that after a page processing gutenprint receive SIGUSR1, but it is blocked. This is because gdm bug discussed at

and fixed at 

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=731228

Applying the patch 

https://bug731228.bugzilla-attachments.gnome.org/attachme

really fixes the problem with gutenprint.
